About the role

As the first product marketer, you will work closely with the CEO, be a critical part of our core team and have a huge influence over the direction of the company. We will compensate you well, invest deeply in your development, and do everything we can to make sure this is an incredible work experience for you.

In this role you’ll responsible for all product marketing initiatives. This includes owning positioning, content on our marketing website, case studies, blog posts, webinars, and more.

What you'll do

  • You’ll lead positioning work. We have a product that’s useful for totally different types of companies (we power everything from marketing agencies to tele-health services and private islands). You’ll prioritize verticals and ensure that we target out core verticals in the best ways possible (on our marketing website, in the first-time-user-experience, etc.)

  • You'll lead content initiatives. You'll own the relationships with our content agency and are responsible for driving success of our content initiatives. You'll explore additional agency partnerships and work with the team on generating high-quality in-house content.

  • You'll help create case studies. You'll work with our top customers (either directly or with external help) to create powerful video and written case studies.

  • You'll start our webinar program. You'll host weekly live demos and webinars on topics that are interesting to our customers.

  • You'll learn about startups. Aside from your core work, you'll have the opportunity to get involved in other areas - marketing, growth, support, ops, etc.

Who you are

  • You have good values. You understand why diversity matters and make others feel like they belong.

  • You're a generalist. You have experience launching multiple marketing initiatives from scratch.

  • You're pragmatic. You have a solid grasp of how to best use your time — when to go deep yourself, when to work with a partner, and when to bring on a team members.

  • You're hardworking. You understand that building a category-defining company requires people that work smart and that also work hard.

  • You're experienced. You have 2+ years experience in marketing, ideally at an early-stage technology company.

  • You're a talented written communicator. You lean on the side of over communication and strive in an environment that values written communication.
