Connect the ClickUp Partner App
Copilot makes it easy to share ClickUp Spaces and Documents with clients directly within the portal. The ClickUp Partner App lets you display rich-text documents for your task lists, marketing plans, reports, strategies, and other files.
Go to App Setup, and click + Add an app in the top right corner.
Click Add under ClickUp. Set a title and icon that represents the app.
We recommend setting this up as a manual App so that you can embed different data for each client. If you want all clients to see the same ClickUp view, set this up as an automatic app.
Next, click Add. You will be taken to to the app's page, where you can set the embed for each client, group, or company.
Click Add to add your first embed or link. Select the client(s) or company to share the app with.
Select Show as embed so that the client isn't directed outside of the portal.
Next, go to your ClickUp home page. To share a Space, select Spaces on the sidebar, and select a Space. To share a Document, navigate to the document that you would like to embed.
Click Share in the top right corner. If it isn't enabled already, enable the Public link and click Copy public link.
Go back to the app's page, paste the copied link into the content box, and click Save.
Note: ClickUp only allows view-only embeds - this is because ClickUp's pricing model only allows collaboration between paid users.
To preview the app as a client, connect the app to your test client. Then, click Portal at the bottom of the sidebar and click Open portal. Once you're logged in as your test client you'll be able to view the connected app.
