Connect the Notion Partner App
Copilot makes it easy to add Notion pages as welcome pages for your clients to help with onboarding and an overview of how to use the portal.
While Notion has implemented a same-origin restriction, thus prohibiting iFrames on any other domain, you can use an external solution to create an embeddable site for your Notion page.
You can add a Notion page as an App using Embed Notion (embednotion.com). Embed Notion also allows you to create a website from a Notion page which enables you to embed it into Copilot.
Create your page in Notion and turn on Share to web. To do this, click Share at the top of your Notion page, select the Publish tab, and click Publish to web.
Copy the web link and paste into Embed Notion and click Create embed.
If you don't have an account with Embed Notion, you will be prompted to create one.
Once you've created your account, you will be able to copy the embed code from your dashboard. To do this, click Code next to your Notion embed, then click Copy code.
Go to App Setup in Copilot Dashboard and click + Add an app in the upper-right corner.
Select Don't see your App?
Name your app, choose an icon, and choose the setup type. We recommend setting this up as an automatic App so that your Notion page will be visible to all clients. If you only want this App to be visible to one or more specific clients, set this as a manual App.
Leave the app set to as Show as embed so that the client isn't directed outside of the portal.
Go back to the App Setup page, paste the Embed Notion code into the content box, and click Save.
To preview the app as a client, click Portal at the bottom of the sidebar and click Open portal. Once you're logged in as your test client you'll be able to view the connected app.
You can also add a Notion page as an App using Super (super.so).
Super allows you to create a website from a Notion page which enables you to embed it into Copilot.
