On the App Setup page you can configure the apps that are enabled, add new ones, and remove ones you don't need. For Client Apps, you can rearrange the order of apps and this will update how they show to clients on the portal sidebar. The app that you move to the top will be the default home page for clients. If you click the Edit button you can:

                    • Specify the app name.

                    • Specify the app icon.

                    • Disable or delete the app.

                    • Set other preferences that are app-specific. For example, on the Billing App you can customize the payment methods clients are allowed to use.

To add a new app click on Add an app. Here you can set up apps made by Copilot, made by partners, and create a Custom App.

If you use the Messages App, customize your welcome message. Your welcome message is automatically sent to clients the first time they log in. A great welcome message introduces your firm and explains how you want clients to use and navigate the portal.

If you use the Billing App, configure what payments method you want to accept and also whether you want pay for payment processing fees or pass them on to clients.

In addition, consider adding some of our recommended Embeds including:

If you plan to use the Billing App, you need to first connect a payout account. This lets us send money to you when clients pay you. If you'd like your clients to see their company name and logo when they log in, instead of yours, you can turn on Client Branding.

To do this, go to the Customization tab in your sidebar, and turn on Client Branding.

Once this is turned on, any client assigned to a company will see their company name and logo at the top of their sidebar in the portal.
